the brain and the body.

the brain is in overdrive and the body is in shock! i have been casting my eye over what needs doing in the home and garden. the brain has been making lists of things what needs doing, i won't bore you with them , but you know the ones, i leave it till later, when i got more time and money etc etc , all the excuses under the sun. well the brain said" no more. things have to be done ,start of with the easy jobs then work  up to the ones that need time and maybe help". the body heard this and said to the brain "but this sounds like hard work ", the brain said" hard work won't hurt".  the body replied "as long as i stop for tea i will do my best" the brain replied "this is going to be fun, wait and see. when everything is done you will be so happy that it is done". "huh"! said the body" i am not getting any younger and you know that i have got a wonky arm". "stop making excuses body that's why we start of with the easy jobs and build up to the tougher jobs"." ok brain you win, what's the first job?" "put the kettle on. i am beginning to ache with all this thinking and planning "."good idea the best one you had this morning".

Favourite, Checked& Summertime

1. Watching my most favourite film Brief Encounter. I do hope they never ever make a remake, but that’s my personal view. 2. My blind cat is enjoying going out into the garden now and one of his big sisters goes out with him  still and she waits patiently for him it’s so lovely to see. He is in good health otherwise, he been checked by the vet. 3. Clocks gone forward lighter evenings now it feels like spring and soon to be summer. But the weatherman predicted snow for Easter!

buses ,son& home

1.following 3 red double deckers on the way home from a bus rally. 2. a mum said to her son "you are a nightmare". son heard this "why did she say that. it's not his fault that he is feeling the heat.why do mothers talk like this?".i replied "that is a very mild remark the mum made ,i have heard a lot worse. maybe she is feeling the heat."son replied "she should know better ,as she is an adult ." 3.coming home from a weekend away.
