linen,check & brother

1.to change the bed linen which is nice and fresh and smells lovely from the fresh air.
2.memo to ones self, before giving or taking books to the charity shops, just check to make sure that there is no books you really want. i was taking some books to the charity shops and by  chance i looked in the bag and found that there was one book what got into the wrong pile. its a knitting&crochet book. in it there is an unusual pattern for a square, knitted from corner to corner and there are some more patterns that i will use.
3.bumped into my brother and his family. had coffee with them .it made a nice change. its not very often that you see them all together . had a lovely chat with my niece. all in all a good day.

Favourite, Checked& Summertime

1. Watching my most favourite film Brief Encounter. I do hope they never ever make a remake, but that’s my personal view. 2. My blind cat is enjoying going out into the garden now and one of his big sisters goes out with him  still and she waits patiently for him it’s so lovely to see. He is in good health otherwise, he been checked by the vet. 3. Clocks gone forward lighter evenings now it feels like spring and soon to be summer. But the weatherman predicted snow for Easter!

buses ,son& home

1.following 3 red double deckers on the way home from a bus rally. 2. a mum said to her son "you are a nightmare". son heard this "why did she say that. it's not his fault that he is feeling the heat.why do mothers talk like this?".i replied "that is a very mild remark the mum made ,i have heard a lot worse. maybe she is feeling the heat."son replied "she should know better ,as she is an adult ." 3.coming home from a weekend away.
