Hugs, Winnie & bless them both.

1. Granddaughter said nanny I won't give you a hug today I might give you a hug tomorrow , tomorrow came, nanny I am still thinking about giving you a hug! Bless her.
2. Had one of the nicest chats I had in ages with a lady of 90 today in a cafe, she asked if she could sit with my sister and me, as her friend could not meet her today, yes we both said, and she was such a lovely lady, and we spent an hour with her, and she said if she is ever in the cafe again is not to be shy and pop over to hello, and we will. Bless you Winnie , you made us very glad that we met you.
3. Daughter is nearly over her flu, looking better. But  son has caught it! But he never complains, he just gets on with it. Bless him.

Favourite, Checked& Summertime

1. Watching my most favourite film Brief Encounter. I do hope they never ever make a remake, but that’s my personal view. 2. My blind cat is enjoying going out into the garden now and one of his big sisters goes out with him  still and she waits patiently for him it’s so lovely to see. He is in good health otherwise, he been checked by the vet. 3. Clocks gone forward lighter evenings now it feels like spring and soon to be summer. But the weatherman predicted snow for Easter!

buses ,son& home

1.following 3 red double deckers on the way home from a bus rally. 2. a mum said to her son "you are a nightmare". son heard this "why did she say that. it's not his fault that he is feeling the heat.why do mothers talk like this?".i replied "that is a very mild remark the mum made ,i have heard a lot worse. maybe she is feeling the heat."son replied "she should know better ,as she is an adult ." 3.coming home from a weekend away.
