Having fun in Hastings.

1. Enjoyed my day at Hastings. My granddaughter put me to shame by going on the rides, so next time I will go on the rides with her.
 2. It was lovely to see her having fun ,laughing and smiling. Mind you she is a very happy girl.
3. Had the best gin and tonic in ages. We just missed our train home, so had to wait an hour, so it was decided that we go for a drink, found a pub near the station and who ever done the g&t knows how to make them. We made sure we didn't miss this train.

Favourite, Checked& Summertime

1. Watching my most favourite film Brief Encounter. I do hope they never ever make a remake, but that’s my personal view. 2. My blind cat is enjoying going out into the garden now and one of his big sisters goes out with him  still and she waits patiently for him it’s so lovely to see. He is in good health otherwise, he been checked by the vet. 3. Clocks gone forward lighter evenings now it feels like spring and soon to be summer. But the weatherman predicted snow for Easter!

buses ,son& home

1.following 3 red double deckers on the way home from a bus rally. 2. a mum said to her son "you are a nightmare". son heard this "why did she say that. it's not his fault that he is feeling the heat.why do mothers talk like this?".i replied "that is a very mild remark the mum made ,i have heard a lot worse. maybe she is feeling the heat."son replied "she should know better ,as she is an adult ." 3.coming home from a weekend away.
