Not nanny,fruit& neighbours

1. Having my eldest granddaughter over for tea tonight after play school. She told her mummy that she wants to stay for along time with her uncle not nanny but her uncle. Bless her.
2. Treated myself to some golden kiwi fruit. And son put in apples , I got a shock as he is not a fruit lover.
3. Saw my neighbour this morning while putting out the recycling, she looks very well. She has been very ill for the most part of this year, so it was very nice to have a chat with her.
4. The other day I saw an other neighbour and had a lovely chat with her, it is only when I see her in her front garden that we have a chat, but that is how our friendship works.

1.i looked at the clock this morning and it was time to get up, went downstairs and saw that the time was 5:30 not 6 o'clock.its nice to have an extra 30 mins,just to have a quiet cup of tea and dream. 2.been at work for a year now, it doesn't seem possible, time has flown by so quick. still enjoying it. 3.spending time with my daughter and grand daughter. did not see them last week ,so making up lost time.

Favourite, Checked& Summertime

1. Watching my most favourite film Brief Encounter. I do hope they never ever make a remake, but that’s my personal view. 2. My blind cat is enjoying going out into the garden now and one of his big sisters goes out with him  still and she waits patiently for him it’s so lovely to see. He is in good health otherwise, he been checked by the vet. 3. Clocks gone forward lighter evenings now it feels like spring and soon to be summer. But the weatherman predicted snow for Easter!

buses ,son& home

1.following 3 red double deckers on the way home from a bus rally. 2. a mum said to her son "you are a nightmare". son heard this "why did she say that. it's not his fault that he is feeling the heat.why do mothers talk like this?".i replied "that is a very mild remark the mum made ,i have heard a lot worse. maybe she is feeling the heat."son replied "she should know better ,as she is an adult ." 3.coming home from a weekend away.
